Vacancy – Temporary Welfare Assistant Urgently Required

Would you like to join our award winning lunchtime team? 

We are looking to recruit a Welfare Assistant to join our lunchtime team, Monday to Friday:

11:30am to 1:30pm (2 hours per day)

 

The successful candidate will be required to set up and clear the dining hall at lunchtime, supervise children during meal times and in the playground, encourage positive behaviour and help children to organise playground games.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this friendly team which is such an important part of the school. We are looking for an individual with energy and enthusiasm for outdoor activities who will be an inspiration to young pupils.

Experience of working with children is preferred but not essential.

You must be able to demonstrate the following personal qualities and attributes:

-         to be well organised

-         to show a high level of care and understanding to the children

-         be able to show initiative and flexibility

-         to have and display a full awareness of confidentiality.

Grade

Foundation Living Wage.

Salary

£10.90 an hour Term Time only Pro Rata

Term

Part-time.

 

 

Perm /FTC

Temporary until 31/08/2024
